Remembering Bishop Sullivan

December 12, 2012, From the Executive Director: We are so grateful to Bishop Sullivan for his original vision for the Sacred Heart Center, his kind heart, and his continued generosity. I was privileged to meet with him in October. Laughing and in high spirits, he said that he wanted to make a major gift to the Center "before he died." Little did I know that it would be so soon.
Thank you, Bishop. We will miss you.

This quote says so much about him:

“I’m a very ‘churchy’ person. Does that make me conservative?” the bishop wondered. “I think there’s both in all of us. … In reaching out to people, you begin to listen and get a new perspective. We are all equal. We are all on the same journey. We need one another.”
